New Project Proposal: Donkey Car Lite

The current Donkey Car (http://www.donkeycar.com/) uses an RC car chassis + Raspberry Pi 3, but why an RC?
Since they control the car with a Sony Play Station joy stick controller through Bluetooth, they don't use the RC hand control.

So, why not build the car on a cheap robot chassis? Make it single axle rear drive with front steering like the RC car.
Have an I2C slave board handle the servo, power, and other support. The Raspberry Pi 3 still has the camera and Bluetooth interface.

Also build a simple Bluetooth hand control that has a steering wheel and other controls like a normal RC car hand control to make it easier to drive manually.

Should come out cheaper and a more flexible design.

Raspberry Pi 3 setup with Windows Laptop host. Basic app working with video feed back and drive control using a browser.
Next step: Reconfiguring my Tank Bot Board to act like a PCA9685 PWM controller.
